Bajaur Blast Condemned by US, Saudi Arabia, and Iran: International Outcry Against Terrorism

The suicide bombing in the Bajaur district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has drawn strong condemnation from the United States (US), Saudi Arabia, and Iran.

The US embassy expressed its heartfelt condolences to the victims’ families in a condolence statement. The tragic loss of innocent lives in the Bajaur blast is unacceptable in any peaceful and democratic society, the statement emphasized. The US pledged its unwavering support to Pakistan in these challenging times and reaffirmed its commitment to assisting Islamabad in its fight against terrorism.

Saudi Arabia and Iran also denounced the attack on the JUI-F rally in Bajaur, highlighting that all forms of terrorism should be punished. Both countries vowed to continue supporting Pakistan’s government and its people.

Additionally, Saudi Arabia and Iran sent prayers for the speedy recovery of the injured.

The devastating bomb blast at the Workers’ Convention of JUI-F in Khar tehsil claimed the lives of 42 individuals and left more than 111 others injured. In response, the Pakistan Army dispatched three helicopters to aid in the rescue mission, evacuating 10 critically wounded individuals to Lady Reading Hospital in Peshawar.

JUI-F leader, Maulana Fazlur Rehman, expressed profound sorrow over the incident and called for a high-level inquiry to be conducted by the prime minister and the caretaker KP chief minister.
