COAS General Syed Asim Munir Invites Foreign Investors to Tap into Pakistan’s Abundant Mineral Resources. He addressed the Pakistan Mineral Summit and highlighted the establishment of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) to facilitate domestic and foreign investors and ensure an investor-friendly system with easy terms and conditions for doing business.

The Army Chief expressed gratitude to foreign delegates and investors for participating in the summit, which was the first of its kind in Pakistan. He emphasized the importance of staying on the path of peace and prosperity and stated that mineral-related projects would contribute to the development of the nation.

General Munir referred to Pakistan’s abundant natural resources, from snow-capped mountains to vast deserts, coastline, and plains. He quoted verses from the Holy Quran and Allama Iqbal’s poem to encourage optimism, faith, and collective efforts in the country’s economy. He invited foreign investors to participate in exploring the hidden treasures of Pakistan.

The COAS also stressed the importance of having full faith in Allah Almighty and recited verses from the Holy Quran that emphasize trust in God during difficult times. The summit aimed to attract investments to tap into the mineral resources of Pakistan and promote economic growth and development in the country.
