Chief of Army Staff( COAS) General Syed Asim Munir paid a visit to Asman Manza in South Waziristan District, six soldiers tragically lost their lives in an hassle with terrorists.
The visit was aimed at assessing the ongoing security situation and intelligence operations in the area. According to the Inter-Services Public Relations( ISPR), the army chief was briefed on the prevailing security conditions, including counter-terrorism operations.
During his visit, General Munir had the occasion to engage with officers and colors posted in the region, delivering their unvarying commitment in the fight against terrorism. General Munir expressed his deep appreciation for the offerings made by the soldiers, emphasizing that these killers are a source of pride for the nation.
