A tragic accident occurred late Monday night in Farooqabad city near Pandour village, Sheikhupura, resulting in the deaths of five family members when their motorcycle was hit by a speeding vehicle, as reported by Pakistan Talk Show.
The family was traveling from Amar Sadhu to the Gujjar Pura area of Lahore to visit relatives for Eidul Adha. Rescue 1122 confirmed that the collision was due to speeding. Police and rescue teams quickly arrived at the scene to transport the deceased and injured to a hospital for necessary medical and legal procedures.
The victims have been identified as Shahzad, 26, Fiza, 10, Mehak, 8, Faizan, 12, and Sufyan, 6. The injured family member is Noor, 15, daughter of Riasat. In a related incident on Sunday in Khairpur, another road accident claimed the lives of five individuals and injured 14 others when a truck overturned on the highway. These incidents highlight the ongoing issue of road safety and the devastating impact of speeding on families.
