Interim Bail of Shah Mahmood Qureshi Extended in May 9 Cases

an anti-terrorism court( ATC) in Lahore has extended the interim bail of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf( PTI) Vice Chairman, Shah Mahmood Qureshi, in cases related to the violent incidents that unfolded on May 9.

The ATC Judge Abul Hasanat presided over the hail, during which Qureshi appeared before the court. During the hail, the court issued processes for two members of the Joint Investigation Team( JIT) that’s probing the May 9 violence screams. The court also requested applicable records to be presented in the coming hail. As a result of these proceedings, the interim bail for Shah Mahmood Qureshi was extended until September 1. The violent clashes that occurred across Pakistan on May 9 followed the arrest of former Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf( PTI) principal Imran Khan from the Islamabad High Court.
