IT Minister Inaugurates Digital Lab in Karachi to Foster Technological Advancements

Federal Minister for Information and Technology, Syed Aminul Haq, inaugurated Karachi’s second IT lab in Orangi Town. The digital lab, set up with the support of Ignite (an agency of the Ministry of IT), will offer 15 world-class IT courses to young individuals, providing them with valuable skills and competencies.

The IT Minister’s vision for the lab is to go beyond basic digital literacy and transform students into proficient IT professionals capable of contributing to Pakistan’s tech industry. He believes that initiatives at the school and college level are crucial in unlocking the true potential of Pakistan’s IT sector.

Aminul Haque emphasized that with the right support and infrastructure, Pakistan’s IT exports could reach $15 billion, making the country a formidable player in the global tech market. The inauguration ceremony was attended by local officials, educators, and students, all eager to witness the new era of digital empowerment in their community.
