JUI-F Leader Hafiz Hamdullah Injured in Mastung Blast

Hafiz Hamdullah, a leader of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F), sustained injuries in a blast that occurred in Mastung, Balochistan. The explosion happened near a vehicle, injuring Hamdullah and several others. Local police quickly arrived at the scene and secured the area.

Mustang Deputy Commissioner Abdul Razzaq Sasoli reported that several people were injured in the blast, and three, including JUI-F leader Hafiz Hamdullah, were transported to a hospital in Quetta for medical treatment. He assured that Hamdullah’s condition was stable and not critical.

JUI-F spokesperson Aslam Ghauri confirmed Hamdullah’s injuries but stated that they were not critical. He also mentioned that Hamdullah and his party colleagues were traveling from Quetta to Kalat when the attack occurred, but the nature of the blast remained uncertain.

A health department spokesperson reported that 11 individuals injured in the blast were taken to Shaheed Nawab Ghous Bakhsh Raisani Memorial Hospital in Mastung, with one person in critical condition. The Senior Superintendent Police (SSP) of Mastung confirmed that 11 people, including Hamdullah, were injured in the explosion, and investigations into the nature of the blast are ongoing.
