Muttahida Quaid Movement – Pakistan (MQM-P) has warmly welcomed the recent statement made by Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif regarding the conduction of general elections in 2023, based on the latest census data.
Sources indicate that the leadership of MQM-P has expressed their approval of the Prime Minister’s stance and highlighted that other political parties are also in support of MQM’s position. They firmly believe that holding elections using the updated census information and new constituencies is crucial, and they are resolute in their commitment to this cause.
In a gracious gesture, the Prime Minister has extended an invitation to prominent leaders of MQM-P to participate in the parliamentary dinner scheduled for today (Thursday).
Furthermore, it has been disclosed that MQM-P has decided to celebrate Independence Day from August 4th to August 14th. During this commemorative period, a series of programs, including discussions, speeches, and various events, will be organized to honor and observe Independence Day.
