This move comes amid enterprises about the state of public sport in Pakistan, particularly hockey, and aims to address alleged irregularities and insure translucency in the PHF choices. The Prime Minister’s decision follows recommendations made by a special commission chaired by Khawaja Asif, which bandied the matters concerning the PHF and proposed measures to address the issues.
