President Invites CEC to Determine Date for General Election

President Arif Alvi has extended an assignation to Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja to bandy the scheduling of the forthcoming general choices.

In a letter, President Alvi proposed a meeting for moment or hereafter to determine the date for the general choices. The President’s letter underlined that he’d dissolved the National Assembly on August 9, following the advice of the Prime Minister.
