Punjab Introduces Fees for Media Coverage at Metro and Orange Line Train Stations

The Punjab Mass Transit Authority has introduced media coverage fees at Metro Bus and Orange Line train stations in Lahore. Media outlets will be required to pay a fee for coverage, and the authority has categorized the stations into three categories to streamline the process.

For Category A stations, there are eight in total, media organizations will be charged a fee of Rs. 246,000 per station. Category B stations, which consist of 10 stations, will incur a coverage fee of Rs. 185,000 for each station. Category C, comprising eight stations, will have a coverage fee of Rs. 124,000.

In addition to this, media outlets covering the Metro Bus service will also need to pay a fee of PKR 124,000. This move is aimed at generating revenue from media coverage at these public transportation facilities in Lahore.
