Pakistan Shaheens delivered an impressive performance, defeating ACT Comets by nine wickets in the Top End T20 Series. Opener Shamyl Hussain played a crucial role in the victory, scoring an unbeaten 57 off 44 balls, including nine boundaries. He laid a solid foundation for the run chase, forging a 66-run partnership with Basit Ali (28 off 27 balls) and then guiding the team to victory alongside captain Rohail Nazir (39 not out off 21 balls).

Earlier, Pakistan Shaheens had won the toss and opted to bowl, restricting ACT Comets to 122 for seven in their allotted 20 overs. Faisal Akram impressed with the ball, taking two wickets for 22 runs, while Sajjad Ali and Arafat Minhas chipped in with a wicket each.

In their first match of the tournament, Pakistan Shaheens suffered a 59-run defeat against Northern Territory Strike. Despite a strong batting performance from Param Uppal (59 not out off 28 balls) and Josh Kann (47 off 31 balls), Shaheens struggled in the run chase and were bowled out for 126.

With this victory over ACT Comets, Pakistan Shaheens are looking forward to their upcoming match against Melbourne Renegades at TIO Stadium, aiming to continue their winning momentum in the Top End T20 Series.
