Sindh High Court Takes Up Case Concerning Malir Expressway Construction

A legal challenge against the Sindh Environmental Tribunal’s decision regarding the Malir Expressway design was presented before the Sindh High Court( SHC). The supplicant has raised enterprises about the implicit environmental impact of the thruway and is seeking a protestation that the warrants granted for its construction are unlawful. During the proceedings, the Government Advocate stressed that the appeal appears to be directed against the ruling of the Sindh Environmental Tribunal, but the specific judgment being queried wasn’t specified in the solicitation. In response, the petitioner requested fresh time to amend the appeal to give further clarity on the case. As a result, the court decided to recess the hail until August 23. The challenge to the Malir Expressway design reflects enterprises about implicit environmental consequences and legal warrants, with both sides presenting their arguments in front of the Sindh High Court for consideration.
