In a heart- wrenching incident, a group of teenage girls faced a woeful end as seven of them drowned while swimming in the Kech swash in Turbat. The unfortunate event took place during a fun and games, where the girls were enjoying a syncope in the Kech swash. The situation turned dire when one of the girls got caught in the deep waters and began to struggle. In a stalwart attempt to deliver their friend, other girls jumped in to help, but sorely, their sweats were in vain. The deliverance platoon managed to save two of the girls, while the bodies of the seven others, progressed between 10 and 17, were recovered from the swash. The original community rallied together to recoup the bodies and insure they were transported to the sanitarium. Following the necessary medical procedures, the bodies were handed over to their grieving families. The authorities have reported that the two girls who were saved are now in stable condition and out of peril. Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo expressed deep anguish over the woeful incident and offered his sincere condolences to the families of the victims. He directed the quarter administration to give full support to the affected families and insure they admit all necessary backing during this delicate time.
