A tragic incident was reported in Karachi’s Super Highway Bismillah Market area, where a local leader of the Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) named Muhammad Arif Mehsood was robbed and murdered. Arif Masood was the owner of a tire and spare parts shop and a prominent figure in the PPP.
According to the local police, Arif Mehsood was leaving his shop when two robbers targeted him. They looted his phone and Rs 25,000 in cash and callously shot him in the head before fleeing the scene. Another person was present in the car with the victim at the time of the incident, and their statement was recorded by the police.
Authorities, including the police, rangers, and crime scene unit, quickly arrived at the crime scene to investigate the matter further. The incident has caused shock and grief among the local community and the PPP party members.
