The mother of the 14-year-old victim, who was brutally beaten by the wife of Civil Judge Asim Hafeez, revealed that the judge offered to make peace over the matter, but she refused. Earlier, the Islamabad police registered a case against Judge Hafeez’s wife, Somia, for allegedly subjecting the teenage domestic helper to severe torture.

The case came to light when the victim was taken to a hospital in Lahore with serious injuries, and her family accused Somia of torturing the child. The victim’s mother mentioned that the judge contacted her and offered to cover the entire cost of her daughter’s treatment and provide additional money. However, she insisted on seeking justice and compared it to how justice is administered in courts.

The case has been registered at Police Station Humak on behalf of the girl’s father, Manga Khan. According to the FIR, the girl had been working as a domestic helper for seven months at the judge’s house, with a monthly salary of Rs10,000. The parents learned about their daughter’s abuse when they visited her on July 23 and found her in a severely injured and wounded condition.

The complainant stated in the FIR that his daughter suffered severe torture at the hands of the judge’s wife, resulting in injuries all over her body, including serious wounds on her head that were infested with maggots. The injuries included swelling on her lips and eyes, broken teeth, broken ribs, and strangling marks on her neck.

The FIR accuses Somia of torturing and illegally detaining the girl since she started working at the judge’s house. The Islamabad police are taking action to arrest the suspect, assuring that the investigation will be conducted with fairness and justice. The parents are adamant about seeking justice for their critically injured daughter and refuse to make peace with the judge over the matter.
