Government Reports Over 162,479 Illegal Afghan Immigrants Have Left Pakistan

As of now, further than 162,479 Afghan citizens who were abiding in Pakistan immorally have returned to their home country, according to data released by the caretaker government.

An apex commission of the National Action Plan( NAP) set a deadline of October 31 for all foreign citizens living immorally in Pakistan to leave freely or face expatriation. Following the expiration of the deadline, the caretaker government began taking action against illegal immigrants. Extradition of these Afghan citizens is underway through the Chaman and Torkham borders. On November 2, 19,344 Afghans returned to Kabul.

The Pakistani Frontier Corps( FC) and the Afghan government have agreed to keep the Torkham border open air until 11 PM to grease the smooth extradition of illegal immigrants. In a separate development, the Afghan Charge d’Affaires met with Pakistan’s Caretaker Interior Minister Sarfraz Bugti to discuss issues related to the extradition of Afghan citizens from Pakistan to Afghanistan and other collective interests.

The innards minister emphasized that the immigrants who were immorally staying in Pakistan are returning to their countries. He also stated that no legal action is being taken against those holding Afghan citizen cards, and that the government is committed to icing regardful and considerate treatment of the immigrants.
