In response to the roar over exaggerated electricity bills, the Pakistan Peoples Party( PPP) has instructed its party workers to roundly protest and act as the” voice of the people.”

In a directive issued to PPP workers, party Secretary General Syed Nayyer Hussain Bokhari called on them to carry demurrers at the megacity union council and tehsil situations. Bokhari emphasized that PPP workers should stand up for the people and kick against the inordinate electricity tariffs, noting that citizens across the country are deeply concerned about the extravagant electricity bills.

This call for kick comes as demonstrators across Pakistan demand a reduction in electricity tariffs and the junking of fresh levies on mileage bills. They’ve advised that they won’t pay their bills until their demands are met. demurrers have taken place in colorful metropolises, with political parties like the Muttahida Qaumi Movement- Pakistan( MQM- P) and Jamaat-e-Islami( JI) condemning the tariff hike and fresh levies on power bills.

JI Amir Sirajul Haq blazoned a” peaceful” civil kick on September 2 during a form marking JI’s 82nd Foundation Day. He prompted people to raise their voices against injustice and laboriously share in the demurrers, adding that the party would organize demonstrations in front of the services of the Water and Power Development Authority( Wapda) if the government didn’t review its decision.

Haq also criticized the current affectation on the defective profitable strategies of former governments, including those of the Pakistan Democratic Movement( PDM), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf( PTI), and the PPP, which he said had entered into agreements with the IMF that harmed the people.
