Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf( PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has been arrested from his hearthstone in Lahore following his conviction in the Toshakhana case. He was set up shamefaced of” loose practices” and doomed to three times in captivity by the District and Sessions Court. PTIVice-Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi verified the arrest, and PTI’s Punjab Chapter twittered that Imran Khan was being moved to Kot Lakhpat Jail. The court’s verdict stated that Imran Khan had designedly submitted false details of Toshakhana gifts to the Election Commission of Pakistan( ECP) and was condemned of loose practices. In addition to the jail judgment , a forfeiture of Rs 100,000 was assessed on him, and he was declared ineligible to hold public office for five times. The Toshakhana issue had been a significant point of contention in public politics. The reference against Imran Khan contended that he failed to expose details of gifts he entered from the Toshakhana during his time as the high minister. The Election Commission of Pakistan had preliminarily disqualified him for making false statements and incorrect affirmations. Imran Khan was criminated in the case on May 10, and his solicitation to declare the Toshakhana case inadmissible was rejected. The Islamabad High Court latterly capsized the ruling, and an Islamabad quarter and sessions court supposed the case justifiable on July 8. still, on August 4, the Islamabad High Court set aside the session court’s verdict and ordered a rehearing of the case. This development marks a significant turn of events in Pakistani politics, as Imran Khan, a prominent political figure, faces imprisonment and legal consequences for his conduct related to the Toshakhana case.
