The Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf( PTI) has taken a significant legal step by filing a solicitation with the Supreme Court, challenging the authority of Islamabad High Court( IHC) Chief Justice Aamer Farooq.

In this legal move, a solicitation has been submitted to the apex court under Composition 186- A, on behalf of the PTI Chairman, by Latif Khosa. The solicitation specially requests the transfer of the cases associated with the PTI Chairman from the governance of the Islamabad High Court( IHC) to either the Lahore or Peshawar high courts.

likewise, the supplicant has sought an instruction to help IHC Chief Justice Aamer Farooq from presiding over the cases involving the PTI Chairman. This development follows a recent decision by the PTI Core Committee, which blazoned its intention to initiate proceedings with the Supreme Judicial Council( SJC) regarding Justice Aamer Farooq.

The party had called upon the IHC Chief Justice to recuse himself from the cases incontinently and had prompted Chief Justice of Pakistan( CJP) Umar Ata Bandial to take notice of the situation.
