Shah Mehmood Qureshi, the vice president of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf( PTI) and former foreign minister, has replied to the nomination of Senator Anwar ul Haq Kakar as the caretaker Prime Minister. Qureshi reflected that Senator Kakar is an educated and meliorated existent who’ll have a good understanding of the country’s abecedarian issues, especially given his background from a lower fiefdom. While admitting that PTI wasn’t consulted regarding the nomination of the caretaker Prime Minister, Qureshi noted that one party within the Pakistan Democratic Movement( PDM) seems to be unhappy with Senator Kakar’s selection. Shah Mehmood Qureshi emphasized that the primary responsibility of the caretaker Prime Minister is to insure the conduct of timely and fair choices. The appointment of Senator Anwar ul Haq Kakar as caretaker Prime Minister was made after consultations between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and opposition leader Raja Riaz. The nomination was transferred to President Alvi for blessing, which was latterly granted under Composition 224A of the Constitution.
