Sialkot police have allegedly conducted a raid on the hearthstone of former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf( PTI) leader Usman Dar’s mother , violating the saint ship and security of the home and reportedly manhandling the women present.
In a videotape communication posted on social media, Usman Dar’s mother claimed that the police raid was orchestrated by Pakistan Muslim League- Nawaz( PML- N) leader Khawaja Asif. She asserted that the police party involved in the raid lowered them, and she indicted Khawaja Asif of trying to help her from querying general choices against him.
Usman Dar’s mother has appealed to Chief Justice of Pakistan( CJP) Justice Qazi Faez Isa to take notice of the situation. It’s worth noting that, after the crackdown on PTI workers following the May 9 vandalization, the police also raided the house of Dar sisters in Sialkot, and reports of mistreatment of ladies surfaced. Following public roar, the also- defence minister Khawaja Asif apologized for the contended mistreatment of women during the raids against PTI leaders following the violent demurrers.
