Patriotic Enthusiasm Marks the Nation’s Observance of Defence and Martyrs Day

Defence and martyrs Day is being observed moment to recognize the martyrs and Ghazis of the 1965 war with a renewed commitment to defend the motherland against all pitfalls.

The Day is observed to pay homage to the martyrs and Ghazis who stood as an unbreakable wall to defend the motherland against the adversary’s aggression. On this day in 1965, Indian forces crossed the transnational border under the cover of darkness to attack Pakistan, but the nation baffled their unrighteous designs.

The day began with a 31- gun salutation in the civil capital and a 21- gun salutation in parochial centrals. Special prayers were offered in kirks

after the Fajr prayer for the progress, substance, and the emancipation of India’s immorally enthralled Kashmir.

Fateha Khwani( enumeration of the Quran) will also be held for the martyrs. Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, Services Chiefs, and the Armed Forces of the country have paid homage to the martyrs, their families, and war stagers on Defence and martyrs’ Day.

According to ISPR(Inter-Services Public Relations), the country’s military leadership stated that on September 6, 1965, it was formerly again demonstrated that a lower but righteous force crushed a numerically larger adversary with professionalism, determination, and faith.

The military leadership emphasized that this day, with its associated heroics and offerings, continues to inspire generations. The ISPR also noted that the Pakistan Armed Forces remain married to icing the defense of the motherland against all internal and external pitfalls.
